Local Debian and Ubuntu repositories

Here are some of the local Debian and Ubuntu repositories that you can point to in order to have faster connection (since it is local). If you know off any other repositories that are available for public, do add it to this list.

This repository is hosted locally (Kuching, Sarawak) by Donald at his home server. Please add the following lines to /etc/apt/sources.list and read here for more information:

deb http://nanasbarat.dyndns.org/medibuntu [dist] free non-free
deb http://nanasbarat.dyndns.org/debian-multimedia [dist] main

mirror.oscc.org.my

This is hosted at mirror.oscc.org.my (the Malaysian's Open Source Competency Centre) where the mirror server is located at Cyberjaya, Malaysia. To use this mirror, simply change "my.archive.ubuntu.com" in the sources.list file to "mirror.oscc.org.my".

Tested this mirror and it's quite fast and stable. Thanks to OSCC for it.

Multimedia University (MMU)

This is hosted at Multimedia University Melaka Campus, which rsync every 8 hours. To use this mirror, simply change "my.archive.ubuntu.com" in the sources.list file to "ubuntu.mmu.edu.my".
